Maulin P. Shah, currently Chief Scientist & Head – Industrial Waste Water Research Lab, Division of Applied and Environmental Microbiology Lab at Enviro Technology Ltd., Ankleshwar, Gujarat, India, received his Ph.D. (2002-2005) in Environmental Microbiology from Sardar Patel University, Vallabh Vidyanagar, Gujarat. He has served as an Assistant Professor at Godhra, Gujarat University in 2001. He is a Microbial Biotechnologist with diverse research interest. A group of research scholars is working under his guidance on the areas ranging from Applied Microbiology, Environmental Biotechnology, Bioremediation, and Industrial Liquid Waste Management to solid state fermentation. His primary interest is the environment, the quality of our living resources and the ways that bacteria can help to manage and degrade toxic wastes and restore environmental health. Consequently, he is also very interested in genetic adaptation processes in bacteria, the mechanisms by which they deal with toxic substances, how they react to pollution in general and how we can apply microbial processes in a useful way (like bacterial bioreporters). One of his major interests is to study how bacteria evolve and adapt to use organic pollutants as novel growth substrates.

Khalid A Enan has completed his Ph.D. at the age of 32 years from Sudan Academy of Sciences University. He is head Department of Virology Central Laboratory, Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Sudan. He has published more than 60 papers in reputed journals and has been serving as an editorial board member and teaching Virology in different Sudanese Universities.

Ahmed R. Sofy is Associate Professor of Virology, Department of Botany and Microbiology, Faculty of Science, Al-Azhar University, Cairo, Egypt. He received the PhD from Al-Azhar University in 2010. His laboratory research is focused on Microbiology, Virology, Molecular Biology and Bioinformatics. He has published more than 40 papers primarily in the previous fields. He participates in several international and national workshops and congresses. He is also implicated in student’s research for their training, master, and PhD. He is on the editorial board of several journals and has acted as a Referee for a variety of national and international scientific journals. He is a member of Council of Asian Science Editors, International Organization of Citrus Virologists (IOCV), African Society for Sustainable Development, Egyptian Society of Virology, Egyptian Society of Botany, Egyptian Academy for Environmental Development and Egyptian Association for Environment Development.

Dr. Nigel Stevenson is an HRB Fellow in School of Biochemistry and Immunology, Trinity College, Dublin, Ireland. He earned his Ph.D. at Queena University of Belfast N Ireland United Kingdom. He has published in The Journal of Immunology, The Journal of Virology, The Journal of Biological Chemistry, The Journal of Leukocyte Biology and Human Immunology and he was an author of a book chapter in The Role of the Immune System in Cancer Infection in the cancer patient. He is a member of the Irish and British Society of Immunology. He is on the committee of the Irish Society of Immunology. He was an organizer of the Viruses and Innate Immunity EMBO workshop 2010 at Trinity College Dublin. The research of Dr. Stevenson examines the molecular and functional aspects of the immune response to viral bacterial and allergic stimuli. His work endeavors to bridge molecular and clinical science applicable to medicine and generation of novel therapeutics.
